The Dame Edna artworks (Seasonal Rorschach series) celebrates the gladiolus flower, beloved by one of Australia’s iconic characters Dame Edna Everridge. The colour of the flower in the original photo also references Dame Edna's famous lilac coloured bouffant, that changed hue as she aged.​​
